Legion Fellowship 圣母军交流会 (12)

I reached home sweet home at about 2:00 pm.

It was a successful fellowship and wonderful journey. I enjoyed very much.

The 2009 Taiwan Fellowship was record breaking in many aspects:

1. The longest period I was overseas (10 days).
2. First time I carried a notebook for blogging.
3. The most land mile covered - the two days Taipei-Hualian-Kaoshiong-Taipei tour itself covered almost 1300 kms.
4. The highest number of Archbishop/bishops we have ever met in a Legion Fellowship.
5. The highest standard we had ever achieved- Farewell dinner at Yuan Shan Fan Dian (Hotel), 5-star hotel stay at Garden Villa, Kaoshiong.
6. The highest number unit of curia/area (35) participated in a Legion Fellowship.
7. The most hectic gathering - every day, breakfast at 6:30 am or 7:00 am, activities started 8:30am and ended after 9:00 pm. In Hualian, we checked into hotel at 8:30pm and 10:30 at Kaoshiong. Thus making 2009 Fellowship achieved item 9.
8. The most variety of activities: Rehab visit, hospital visit, Cathedrals and churches visit, universities visit, tribal towns visit.
9. The most buses used in a Legion Fellowship (10), thus created a record item 10.
10. The most time spent by female legionaries queuing up for toilet.

Not bad! For experiencing 10 new records myself. This showed our annual fellowship is growing and improving. （many more not listed)

On the opening day, it was raining the whole day. We were not affected since the event was held indoor. But good weather prevailed throughout the gathering, outing, including last 2 days of sightseeing.

Thank God for the blessings we received and thanks to Mother Mary for her intercession. May God continue to bless us a successful and fruitful Fellowship 2010 at Ipoh.

今天约下午二时正，我回到了家门。

台北交流会成功的举行了，这是一个美妙的旅程，我获益良多。

2009年台北交流会，在许多方面，是前所未有的。

1. 这是我出国最久的一趟 （10 天）。
2. 我第一次带着手提电脑出国写部落格。
3. 这届交流会走了最长的路程 - 只是台北-花莲-高雄-台北的旅程，就已达到 1300 公里了。
4. 我们会见最多主教的交流会。
5. 最高档的交流会 - 惜别晚宴在圆山大饭店举行， 进住高雄绿潭五星级的酒店
6. 最多参加单位/地区的交流会 （35）。
7. 时间安排最紧凑的交流会。每天的早餐都是在六点半或七点，八点半就出发进行已定的活动。在花莲，我们在晚上八时半才进住酒店，而在高雄，则是十点半才进入酒店。所以就有第八项。
8. 最多元化活动的交流会 - 拜访戒治所，医院，主教座堂，教堂，大学，原住民市镇等。
9. 最多巴士同时出发的交流会 （10 辆），所以，也就造就了第十项记录。
10. 女士们花最多时间上洗手间的交流会。

不错，我个人体验、看到了十项新纪录，是个好事，也就是说交流会仍然在成长及进步中。（当然还有好多不能细列）

在交流会正式开幕当天，天不作美，下了几乎二十四小时雨。我们没有受到影响，因为开幕礼是在室内举行。但过后呢，天天都好天气，特别是我们在户外活动的时候，如拜访教堂，也包括最后两天的旅游活动。

真的要感谢天父的慈爱，圣母玛利亚的代祷，第十七届交流会，成功圆满的完成了。我也祈望天主继续祝福我们2010年的怡保交流会。

With a glittering and emotional farewell dinner at the iconic Yuan Shan Hotel, the 17th Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Taiwan Annual Fellowship of Chinese Speaking Legionaries ended tonight. The dinner was attended by more than 400 legionaries from 35 units and region, graced by Archbishop and Bishop of Taipei, priests religions and a distinguished High Court Judge.

The Legionaries will meet in Ipoh Perak in 2010 !


第十七届马、新、汶、台华文圣母军交流会惜别晚宴，在宏伟的台北圆山大饭店举行，这也意味作交流会完满的结束了。出席宴会的除了超过四百名的军友之外，还有台北教区的总主教及主教，许多神父，修女及一位高庭法官。

2010年的第十八届交流会，将在马来西亚霹雳州的怡保举行！

Legion Fellowship 圣母军交流会 （5)

It is 1:00 am.

I was just backed from After-fellowship of the Fellowship (pic below). It was a relaxing sessions after a day's activities.

现在已是凌晨一点了。

我刚从交流会后的小交流会，也称为【酒徒会】。这是我们大家在一天的活动后，愿意参加的一些单位领导，集聚在一起，谈天说地，喝酒，喝茶，甚至喝奶，非常轻松的交流。(下图）


The third day of fellowship started early. At 8:30 am, we were already at the Immaculate Conception of Taipei for Mass which was celebrated by Archbishop Hong and Bishop Wang, and con-celebrated by eleven priests.

After Mass, talks were given by Fr. Pu from Korea but based in Taiwan for the past four years. He shared his experience of building community with the help of legionaries; and his tireless effort to form ten praesidium to change the life of his rural parish.

Archbishop treated us to a sumptious lunch at a nearby famous restaurant. He was the most friendly Archbishop I have ever met. He toasted with all the legionaries by going table by table.
He respects and appreciates the contribution of Legion of Mary in community building and evangelization.

After lunch, we adjourned to the Church of the Holy Family for a talk.

At 6:00pm, we were bused to Taipei 101 for sightseeing.

It was a cool and windy evening. I sat at the entrance of Taipei 101, feeling safer than my country. I did not go up the the observation deck at floor 89, but instead walked around the shopping area.

At 8:00 pm, Ms Lee, the former president of TaiChong Curia which organised the 2004 Legion Fellowship in Taichong, brought two of us to Carnegie's Spirit of Rock restaurant for a delicious dinner.

The day ended with with the After-fellowhship of the Fellowship.


交流会的第三天，我们很早就出发了。大约早上八点半，我们就到了圣母无染原罪总主教座堂，参加又两位主教及十一位神父共祭的弥撒。

弥撒过后，韩籍的朴神父，主持了一个讲座，分享他的牧灵经验，特别是圣母军在协助建立团体的贡献。他也分享了他目前服务堂区的故事，如何藉着圣母军改变了教友的生活，及从零到建立十个支团的努力。

过后，总主教在附近一家餐馆招待了我们。最令人感动的是这位总主教的随和及亲民态度。他是我见过的许多主教中最随和及易亲近的一位。他到每一张桌子，向团员们问候及干杯。

午餐后，我们移师到圣家堂听讲座。

在傍晚六时，我们到底了台北101参观。我没有上去89楼的观望台，而到商店逛逛。我坐在101的外面，享受着凉风，感觉到很安全（比我国更安全）

在八点，台中的前任团长李静芷招待我们到他女儿管理的意见西式餐馆用晚餐。

今天就在主徒会集聚后结束。

耕莘医院 Cardinal Tien Hospital

交流会的目的主要就是交流，但教会的集会，必须有需要对我们的信仰及灵修有益。所以，圣母军交流会就要选择一条适合的路线，过重的社交活动，就不能称为圣母军集会；过重的灵修活动，却会乖离交流会的性质。

台北交流会就花了相当多的心思，作出适当的安排，以取得平衡，达到交流会的目的。

今天是交流会的第二天，代表可以选择留在活动中心，分享或聆听各地的工作分享，讲座，也可以选择到医院或戒活所作实地拜访。我选择了到天主教办的耕莘医院作实地拜访

早餐后，两辆巴士车载满了军友，开往坐落在台北新店的天主教耕莘医院出发。在台湾，“天主教”这个识别称号，好像非常的注重，所有的宣传物品，都有着天主教这三个字。

因为早上繁忙交通及塞车，我们经过整一个小时多，才到达目的地，许多志工（义工）在医院门口欢迎我们了。很荣幸的，院长早就在会议室等待我们的到来，并由牧灵关怀部的修女，向我们简报这医院的历史及服务，特别是该院的“牧灵关怀部”。

我们被分成8人一组，有圣母军志工带领，拜访三个部门。

首先我们看到的是精神科日间智障关怀。这个部门是照顾那些轻智障者，在白天到来，接受照顾，训练及做一些工作。这里设有电脑、职能及烹饪室训练课程及设备。

下一个部门是失智老人日间护理。这里的老人都也是一些轻微的失智（老人痴呆）。他们日间到这中心，参加一些团康活动，心理治疗等。这些都能够帮助他们减轻一些失智时面对的障碍及困难。这里还有复健师和营养师照顾他们身体及食物的照顾及选择，如避免暴饮暴食，控制体重等。

最后一个探访的部门，也是我最受我们关注的，那就是安宁服务。耕莘医院是台北第二所开始这个服务的医院。

部门主任周修女亲自向我们讲解这里的服务。这里收纳的都是患上末期癌症的病患。他们在这里，得到药物及心理和心灵的护理。他们在祥和及关爱的环境中，把痛苦减到最低点，走完了人生最后的一程。

我在这医院意外的遇到黄大华神父以前在这里实习的同事张茜华（下照片左二）及曾来过大马参加大华神父晋铎典礼的徐庆芸（左三）。

圣母军在这个牧灵护理工作上，积极的参与成为志工，为弱势的人们，需要关爱的人们服务，把爱带到他们的心中。他们的工作中心是关爱，不是传教，但在关爱中，让别人在他们身上，看到了耶稣。

我们在午餐时间结束了探访，回到剑潭活动中心继续下半天的活动。

与早上的活动相比，下午可是坐痛了屁股，当然也有很多代表，偷偷的去会周公。连串的报告，分享，讲座，终于把交流会的一些必要的资讯，带给了代表们。也是就是说，要做的，该做的，都做完了！

节目到晚餐后终于结束了。

这是很长的一天。晚上是自由活动，相信很多军友一定会去逛士林夜市。

The Jian Tan Center saw hive of activities at around 4:00pm. Local legionaries from various parts of Taiwan were the last batches of participants to be registered. According to the final tally revealed by the organiser, there were 413 participants from 35 units/areas taking part in this year's fellowship. The new comers were 17 legionaries from Huston, Texas, St. Jose and Southern California.

At 5：30 pm sharp, Taiwan Senatus President Chang Mei Ying led the opening prayer and Rosary. It was indeed grateful for our Mother's intercession and protection that, despite the threat of A (H1N1) worldwide, the fellowship was not affected.

The Fellowship was officially opened by Right Rev. Bishop Lee of Taipei diocese in a simple ceremony, followed by a Thanksgiving Mass con-celebrated by Bishop Wang from St. Jose and 12 other priests.

A buffet dinner and presentations by Taiwanese legionaries followed.

开幕礼（4-6-09）

傍晚四点左右，剑潭活动中心的经国礼堂，开始热闹了起来。台湾本土的军友是最后一批报到的参加者。根据主办当局的最后数字，总共有来自35个地区/单位，413名军友出席这届的交流会。今年新来的是美国休斯顿，加州圣河西及南加州三个单位的17位军友参加。

在五点三十分正，台湾分团团长张美芳姐妹带领诵念开会经及玫瑰经。是的，我们应该感谢圣母的爱护，祈求耶稣的恩赐，在 A (H1N1) 的阴影下，第十七届华文圣母军交流会，能够顺利的召开。

开幕礼的感恩弥撒由台北李克勉主教及圣河西的汪中璋主教主祭 ，12位神父共祭。弥撒过后就是晚餐及迎宾表演。

Annual fellowhship 常年交流会

More than 260 legionaries from East & West Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Hong Kong and US are making their way by direct flights or connecting flights to Taipei. They will be welcomed and joined by more than two hundreds local legionaries in Taipei for the 17th Annual Fellowship of Chinese Speaking Legion of Mary which will be opened on 4th June 2009.

I will be leaving for Taipei on MAS 9:40 am flight at KLIA tomorrow (3rd June). This is my 17th year of participation in this annual fellowship.

This is a gift of God. Through Divine Providence, I am able to visit many places, meeting many people, fellow legionaries, Catholic brothers and sisters. This is the universal dimension of the Catholic Church.

The recent bout of "thunder flu" has weakened me physically (age is catching up?!?). Then coughing followed (which my wife is taking over...she is coughing badly) , then a dizzy spell. I have to see a doctor this evening to get some medication for my vertigo.

And I got the news this afternoon that the young girl from Ipoh who is undergoing treatment in Tung Shin Hospital, her condition is deteriorating. I was not able to visit her.

A fellow legionary who was bed-ridden for the past ten years was also admitted to Kajang hospital due to lung infection. I manged to visit her this evening. Her condition was not optimistic.

I would bring them with me in my thought to the fellowship gathering where we will celebrate Mass and worship every day, May God have mercy and comfort the two sick persons in their time of need.

As WIFI service is available at the place of our stay, I am bringing along my laptop so that I can share my activities with you all at the soonest instance.

台湾团长2008年，在星加坡致辞

大约二百六十名来自东、西马，汶莱，星加坡，香港及 美国的华语圣母军，现在正取道不同的路线，直飞航班或转机，朝向目的地 - 台北。他们将会受到超过两百名台湾军友的欢迎，一同参加在台北举行的第十七届马、汶、新、台华文圣母军交流会。这项集会在六月四日至七日，假台北剑潭青年 活动中心举行。

我将在明天，乘达马航早上九时四十分航班，前往台北参加这交流会。这是我第十七次参与其盛。

这是天主的恩赐。天主的顾佑，我能够每年都参加交流会，到过了许多地方，认识许多朋友，军友等。这就是天主教会普世观的一面。

最近的“雷霆感冒”，使到我的身体虚弱了很多（可能年纪也大了！）。过后又严重咳嗽（现在传到了给我太太，她也是咳嗽的很厉害），然后时常头晕。我得在今天下午，到药房看医生，服食耳水不平衡的药物。

在此同时，也收到消息，在同善医院作癌症治疗的女孩梁莉娜，她的情况转坏，病况堪虞。但我不能去探望她。

一位加影的老圣母军团员，病卧于床也有十年了，因肺感染，被送进了加影政府医院。我抽空探望了她，她的情形也不乐观。

我会把她俩，在我的心思里，带到台湾，在那里的每天弥撒和朝拜中，祈求天主，在他们最危难的时候，看护她们。

交流会的住宿场地有无线上网的设备，所以我随行带我的电脑，在最快的时间，和大家分享交流会的点滴。

愿主降福，引领及保佑我们，有个快乐，平安，乐融融的交流会。
