The Ipoh trip 怡保之行

I got up at 5:30 am on Wednesday for the trip to Ipoh to attend Lina's funeral.

Reached PJ at 6:45 to pick up Fr. Lawrence, Faustina and Rose. Traffic was light and we reached Ipoh at about 9:00 am. All of us were hungry, so decided to have Ipoh Dim Sum for breakfast.

Before the Mass at 10:30 am, we gathered at the funeral parlour for a prayer session led by Fr. Lawrence.

Many Ipoh friends met Fr. Lawrence for the first time.

We left for home immediately after Mass. At PJ, I suggested to have Bak Kut Teh at a famous stall opposite the St. Ignatius's church which I last visited about 5 years ago....

You see.... now matter how, we eat eat eat eat and eat only...!!! (cows need to eat too!)

星期三早上五时半，我就起床准备上怡保参加莉娜的葬礼。

大约六时四十五分，到了八打灵接载了大华神父，晓宁及彩燕。大道的交通顺畅，在九时左右，我们就到了怡保。大家都肚子饿了，所以决定吃怡保点心早餐。

过后，我们到了教堂的殡仪馆，由大华神父带领，弥撒前，为亡者莉娜祈祷。

许多怡保的朋友还是第一次见到大华神父，虽然之前有听过他的名字。

安所弥撒过后，我们马上启程回家。到了八打灵，我提议到圣依纳爵教堂对面的吃出名的肉骨茶午餐。上一次的到来，应该是五年前的事了。

你看，我们就是吃，吃，吃，又是吃，吃！ （牛也得吃草！）
