雨中与吾爱携手同行 Walking in the rain with my loveHave not seen them for couples of years. Paul is a senior legionary, former Parish Council Chairman of St. Theresa Church, Sibu, President of Curia and currently a town councilor of Sibu city.
He and his wife Agnes opened a book store recently in Sibu and is here to meet suppliers and since two days ago.
I invited them to come with me to Kajang, which Paul has never been. Agnes visited Kajang almost twenty years ago when she was studying in Petaling Jaya.
It was raining and I brought them to Putrajaya on the way to Kajang via LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong Expressway).
We were met at the Putrajaya Mosque by a friendly lady volunteer (pic right), explaining to us the architecture and design of the mosque, some information on Muslim prayers .... It was very useful and we have a better understanding of the Muslim prayer ritual.We wanted to visit the official residence of the Prime Minister, but it was closed. It opens from 10:00am to 3:00 pm daily.
After Putrajaya, I brought them to the Church of the Holy Family where Paul and Agnes met Fr. George Harrison, the Parish Priest. They were surprised to hear Fr. George spoke to them in fluent Mandarin!
They have the "world famous" Kajang Satey for dinner before going back to their hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
They will leave for home tomorrow noon.
很惊讶的在光仁服务中心遇见了来自诗巫的萧仁忠兄弟及太太刘秀香姐妹。
好多年没见到仁忠了。他是圣母军资深团员，曾任圣德肋撒堂议会主席，圣母军区团团长，现任诗巫市议员。
他们最近在诗巫开了一间小书坊，售卖宗教书籍，社会丛书，精品及文具等物品。他们是在星期一到来吉隆坡办货及洽谈业务。
相约不如想遇，在他们办好了事务之后，我邀请他们到加影一游。。。仁忠没到过加影，秀香大约在二十年前（读书时代）到过一次。
乘着一片烟雨蒙蒙，我把车驾到布城（Putrajaya），让他们再看看布城的风貌。（他们曾到过布城）。
仁忠夫妇第一次踏入回教堂，受到一位女信徒义工的热情接待及给予讲解，使到大家对回教堂的结构及回教徒的祈祷有了更多的认识。
本来还想去首相官邸参观，但因为已经过了时间（早上10时到下午3时开放），只好下次再来了。
离开布城及回教堂后，我把他们带到加影圣家堂参观。刚巧外出的本堂赫神父回来，很高兴的欢迎他们，并开了教堂们让他们进去参观。他们对赫神父说的一口流利的华语，感到惊叹！
参观了教堂之后，来到我的家稍坐一阵子，然后就去享用“世界著名，来到必吃” 的加影沙爹！
到了傍晚七点半，我才把他们送回吉隆坡的酒店，向他们道别，结束了短暂的半日游。
他们将在明天（星期四）中午。飞回诗巫。祝他们顺风！
