Today is World Press Freedom Day.
Several Chinese newspapers printed their front pages in black and white in protest against recent police brutal treatment of their reporters at the 428 Bersih 3.0 rally.
Many reporters and photographers had been beaten brutally and detained by policemen during the rally.
A number of photographers were beaten and ordered by police, while taking pictures of policemen beating protesters, to erase their memory cards, camera confiscated and detained.
Foreign pressmen were also received rude and rough treatment from the police.
Police brutality was not reported at all by English and Malay language newspapers.
Besides front pages in black, all staff and media workers also wear black with yellow ribbon to bring home their messages.
And I added the Yellow & black ribbon (left) to highlight Police brutality and hoped for a change for the better.

许多华文报章都以黑白作为封面版，以抗议最近的428净选盟3.0 集会中，警察粗暴的对待新闻从业员。
许多记者当天被警察镇暴部队粗野的推撞，殴打，有些还受伤需进院治疗。
警方当天无理夺取摄影记者的相机，喝令删除照片，同时被殴打，过后被扣留。
警方的暴力行动，英文及马来文报章对这些暴力，只字不提。
今天，除了黑色头版，多家报社的员工及采访记者，也响应大马华裔摄影记者协会的号召，身穿黑衣，系上黄丝带，以抗议428当天所受到的暴力对待。
我则放上来黄底黑丝带，以对警察的暴力给予关注，希望也能带来改变。
说的新闻自由，更糟的是，外国从业员除了也受到粗暴的对待以外，他们的报道也受到删减。【半岛】卫星电视，【英国广播公司BBC）的报道在马来西亚寰宇收费卫星电视播出时，未经允许，就自行删除部分有关警察暴力的部分。
更丢人的是，马来西亚历史悠久，巫统控制的英文【新海峡时报】，被发现严重篡改一位澳洲上议员的演讲稿，而刊登在该报，别有居心的制造仇恨。
这位澳洲上议员是到马来西亚观察428 集会时，并发表了对这集会的赞赏，也因此遭到该报的报复。
【新海峡时报】引用了该上议院在2009年的一篇讲稿，当时他对『基督教科学派』给予苛刻的批评。而【新海峡时报】把『基督教科学派』改成“伊斯兰教”。
这就有天渊之别，后果可能是不堪设想了。真丢脸的事！
***晚间最新消息：【新海峡时报】已经正式向澳洲上议员道歉，承认了这个错误（阴谋）。马来西亚的颜面都给这家报章全丢了！！
