Happy New Year 2013!
Today is the first day of the year, and the Catholic church celebrates the solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.
And she is our mother also.
We celebrate Christmas, the birth of Jesus. After Christmas, it's time for us to honour his mother, Mary.
Mary became the Mother of God and our mother when to the Angel's salutation she pronounced her meek assent, "Here am I, the servant of the Lord, let it be done with me according to your word." （Luke 1：38）
She is our model of FAITH.
Her faith has made her worthy of our devotion to her as mother of mankind.
Only faith can guarantee the blessings that we hope for, or prove the existence of the realizes that at present remain unseen .....(Hebrews 11)
On the beginning of our Year of Faith, I offer everything, including my family, friends and relatives,to the hands of Mary our mother, to pray for us to our God for blessings and protection, for a happy, peaceful and good health in year 2013.
Today also being The World day of Peace declared by Catholic church since 1967, I also pray for God's mercy and compassion, took pity on those refugees of wars, lessen their sufferings, and bring peace to the world. Amen.
今天是新年的第一天，天主教会欢庆玛利亚为天主之母的感恩弥撒。
她也是全人类的母亲。
普世同庆圣诞节，因为耶稣的出生。圣诞节过后，是我们感谢及记怀祂的妈妈，圣母玛利亚的时候了。
当天使向玛利亚显现的时候，告诉她要怀孕天主第二位圣子耶稣时，圣母很谦和的答应了：“上主的婢女在这里，愿照你的话成就于我吧！”（路1：38）。就从这时起，她便成为了基督的母亲和我们的母亲。
她是我们信德的楷模！
她的信德，配得上我们对她是人类的母亲的敬礼。
信德是所希望之事的担保，是未见之事的确证。。。（希11）
在这 『信德年』的始伊，我把一切，包括我的家庭，我的亲戚朋友，交托在天主之母玛利亚的手中，祈求天主的护佑及恩赐，新的一年，大家生活平安，健康喜乐。
今天也是天主教会自1967起，就宣认为『世界和平日』的一天。我也祈求天主垂怜，特别减低那些无辜及无助，因战争影响的难民所承受的苦痛及悲伤，早日赐给我们和平。阿门。
