The weather in Paris today was gloomy.
However, we left in the morning to take a train to Nevers, to visit the the shrine of St. Bernadette at the Convent of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Nevers.
The TGV high speed train took 2 hours to cover a distance of about 250 kms.
Nevers is a beautiful and quiet small town.
We walked about 25 minutes from the train station to the Convent.
No many visitors. Perhaps it is not THAT famous as Lourdes where Mother Mary appeared to Bernadette took place,
After the first Apparition of Mary to her at age 14 (1858), Bernadette entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Nevers in Lourdes at the age of 22.
She died of long illness at the age of 33 on April 16, 1879 in the St. Gildard Convent, Nevers.
We went around places within the Convent, reminiscing the life of St Bernadette during her 13years stay there.
St. Joseph Chapel was her favourite place of prayer and meditation. Her body was buried there for abut 40 years before being removed to the present crypt due to her beatification process.

巴黎今早阴天，看来必定是会下雨的。
我们一早就离开，乘搭高速火车前往尼威（Nevers），去尼威慈善姐妹修会院朝圣。圣女伯尔纳德的遗体就在这修院里面。
高速火车两小时后，就抵达了这个离开巴黎250公里左右的小镇。
尼威是个非常美丽、安静的市镇。市容感觉，生活悠闲。
从火车站，只需步行25分钟左右，就抵达了修院。
我们参观了修院内边。这是圣女伯尔纳德在世时生活的地方。她在这里修道，也死在这里，葬在这里。
圣女来自是露德，在十四岁时（1858年），圣母玛利亚显现给她看见，这就是露德圣母显现的事迹的主人翁。
在22岁时，她决定进入尼威慈善姐妹修会，来到了尼威。她的健康不好。
1897年四月十六日，她因久病而与世长辞，享年33 岁。
她的不朽遗体目前就安放在修院里面的小堂里。
我们在修院里面，怀缅当年圣女13年在此生活点滴。
圣若瑟小堂是她最喜欢安静祈祷的地方。她逝世后，遗体安葬在这里大约40年。后来因为封圣的程序，遗体被挖出作检查，才移到目前的供放地方。
