Former inspector-general of police Hanif Omar has been appointed the head of the independent panel by the Najib government to probe the brutality during the Bersih 3.0 rally.
A great shame to the world "independent" and the integrity and sanity of Malaysians.
The day after Bersih 428 rally, Hanif Omar, the one whose salary is paid with "sin" gambling money, declared that communist elements had infiltrated the Bersih rally.
Can a former Inspector of Police already with opinion formed be independent in the matter of Police brutality?
It is akin to appoint Dracula to audit blood bank ! cried a headline.
