Yoga 瑜伽

There are 2 factors preventing me from doing exercise:knee pain and laziness.

My wife and I have been doing Yoga exercise for about 15 years. Due to my knee pain and at times laziness, I have not been doing so for the past three to four years. My wife still continues almost daily till today.

Two months ago, I decided to "re-start" my Yoga exercise despite of knee pain. As my knee condition is not getting better but worse, a total knee replacement seems unavoidable in due time. Should that day arrives, I will be cut off completely from Yoga, the exercise that I loved.

So do it while I can, and relish the joy of stretching and pulling of muscles, joints and tendons, enjoy the stimulating pain of pushing one's endurance, tolerance and determination to the ever higher levels.....

And the refreshing inner peace and harmony of body and mind.

I love Yoga!

只有两个原因可以阻止我做运动:膝盖痛和懒惰。

我和太太做瑜伽运动也有约十五年之久。因为膝盖痛,有时又加上懒惰,我停顿了有四 、五年了。太太则从不间断的到今天,几乎仍然每天都有运动。

两个月前,我决定“重出江湖”,拿出我久藏的运动衣裤,虽还有膝盖之痛,但决意“再续前功”。我的膝盖,不会好转,只有渐坏,最终不可避免的将是换上人造膝盖为解决方法,那时,这些瑜伽动作将会成为绝响,只能看照片回忆了。(我才拍了这些照片留下)

所以,可以做就做吧,好好的享受拉 、扯 、伸张肌肉 、骨节和胫肋的畅快,也享受把自己的忍受 、忍耐 、坚韧意志推向另一个更高层次的痛快乐趣。

当然还有内心的平静,身体和心灵的融合。

老大,看来你的瑜伽术已到炉火纯青的地步,不简单呢!假如真的被禁止,那只好躲起来练习或说表演了,你说呢?

老黄,假如有机会学习瑜伽,不妨试试看。我想第一个你能得到的好处是较苗条的身材! :D

什么老骨头,哈哈!我就是那种。
你不知道我已是不能真真可以弯身取物,要慢慢来,不认老也都不行了,我相信瑜伽术的奥秘,心领了。
