Manek Ulai by-election 马力武来补选

Tomorrow is the polling day of the Manek Urai by-election in Kelantan. It is a straight fight between UMNO and PAS.

The seat fell vacant following the death of PAS' Ismail Yaacob, a five term assemblyperson on May 22.

BN, especially UMNO, could not afford to loose anymore by-election. So Muhyiddin, Deputy Prime Minister and Najib's loyal deputy, offered a choice for the people of Manek Ulai: choose PAS to rot or choose UMNO for a new bridge to connect Manek Urai Baru and Manek Urai lama. "you must vote BN... and the bridge would be built day after the election" said Muhyiddin.

In this backwater constituency consisting 99.22% Malay, voters would not bite the "bribes" offered by the UMNO. And Muhyinddin thinks he owns the Treasury!

With glowing tributes by mainstream news media on Najib's 100 days in office, UMNO hopes it can wrestle back the seat from PAS

Fat hope, I guessed PAS would retain the seat.

明天是吉兰丹州马力武来州议席补选投票的日子。这场补选是巫统（国阵）和回教党直接对垒。

这场补选是因为回教党的州议员依斯迈耶谷在五月二十二日逝世而进行的。

巫统不能再输这场补选，所以派了副首相 、纳吉的忠心副手慕尤丁负责这场补选。他给马力武来的选民一个选择：选回教党，没有发展；选巫统（国阵），马上就建一座桥，接通马力武来巴鲁和马力武来拉马。他说：“。。但你们必须选国阵，那新桥将在补选后的隔天，马上就开始建”。

在这偏僻落后的选区，选民不会受巫统贿赂的。慕尤丁好像把国家财政部当作是自己的。

随着最近主要媒体报章大事渲染纳吉执政100天地政绩，歌功颂德，巫统希望藉此机会把这个州议席抢回来。

梦想！我想回教党仍然会保住这个席位。
