Farewell

Two months after the Independence of then Malay, a young French from Missions Etrangeres De Paris (MEP) arrived in Kuala Lumpur to start his life-long missionary works which would span over 57 years.

Fr. Peter Bretaudeau was then a 26 years old priest who was ordained on April 2, 1956 in his home town parish at Le Poire Sur Vie, North of France.

He served under 3 Archbishops, transvered across the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur for more than 57  years, with the last two and a half years being the residence priest in the Church of the Holy Family, Kajang.

He was officially retired last night in a farewell dinner held at the Holy Family Church Hall, attended by 2 Archbishops, many priests and religious, and about 900 parishioners.

He is a great missionary dedicated his whole life to the church and people.

Thank you Fr. Peter.
