Sandakan-KK 山打根-亚庇 (2)

The few days in Sandakan was very relaxing. We left Sandakan on a 45-minute flight to Kota Kinabalu on Thursday 23/10/08.

Jonathan has been to his new post for a month now. He has rented an apartment but still waiting for his belongings to be shipped from KL.

He was told 3 important things in KK:
1. get an emergency standby power unit (frequent power outage),
2. Watch the colour of your parking lot. Green, yellow and white. Different color denotes different hourly chargers.
3. Do not follow behind buses with the notice "Bus Berhenti henti". They literally stop at any time, anywhere. Follow at your own risk.

InKK, we met up with our nephew Ah Hong who is working here and goddaughter Cecilia Hui.

We also took this opportunity to visit Jenny, the brave girl who is always in our prayer.

在山打根的几天非常轻松的过去了。我们在23/10/08 星期四，到四十五分钟航程外的亚庇。

我的儿子已经来到亚庇工作一个月了。他已经找到了一间公寓，但还要等他的行李从吉隆坡船运过来。

他在亚庇被告知要注意三个事项：
1. 准备紧急照明灯，因为常会有断电的状况。
2. 注意你泊车位的颜色。青、黄和白。不同颜色代表不同的收费。
3. 不要跟在巴士注有“Bus Berhenti henti" 的后面，它们随时会停下来上、下客。后果自负。

在这三天里，我们去探望了在亚庇工作的外甥，及乾女儿诗诗。

我们也乘这个机会再次拜访了勇敢的俐雯，她常常都在我们的祈祷中。再次的祝愿她学业顺利，加油！
