Faithful servant 忠心仆人

I have visited Fr. Leo Chang this morning. His condition was not optimistic. His stomach was blotted and hard.

Since his discharge from Assunta Hospital about a week ago, he has been very quiet and slept most of the time. We could see that he has pain in the stomach but kept quiet about it.

On Monday (24/11/08), he went back for a follow-up visit. Doctor decided to give him mild dosage of morphine to reduce his pain.

He was subdued when I visited him. He got upset easily and short temper.

Suddenly, he wanted to celebrate Mass which he normally did in the evening. During the Mass, he has difficulty to read... read the wrong passage, missed out some prayer....repeating.... mixed up reading and prayer.... He was disoriented.

In my heart, I prayed to Jesus to have mercy on his faithful servant....

Lord, guide us (all those involved) in helping and looking after Fr. Leo Chang.


今早我去探望了张学礼神父。他的情况不很乐观。他的肚子膨胀兼硬崩。

自从他在一个星期前出院后，他非常的沉默，大部分时间都是在睡眠。可以看得出他有肚子痛，但他不会投诉。

在星期一（24/11/09)，他到会医院复诊。医生决定给他低份量的吗啡来减低他的疼痛。

当我探访他时，他情绪很低沉。他非常的敏感，很容易发脾气。

突然间，他觉得要举行弥撒。通常他是在傍晚才做的。在弥撒中，他读错经文，遗漏祷词，重复及混淆。。。他患得患失，迷惑，恍恍惚惚。。

在我心中，我祈求耶稣仁慈的怜悯他的忠心仆人。

主耶稣，也请求你指引那些帮助及看顾张神父的所以的人。
