At about 5:15pm, DPM Najib held a press conference at his Putrajaya office to announce that BN has secured enough seats to form a new Perak State Government.

While the press conference is on going, the present Perak Mentri Besar Nizar is still inside the Palace of Perak Sultan having an audience with Sultan Azlan Shah.

Apparently, two PKR assemblymen and a DAP assemblywoman had crossed over to BN. And the assemblyman for Bota, who 3 days ago crossed over to PKR, has rejoined UMNO. Thus making BN with simple majority to form a new government.

The final fate of PKR State Government hinges on the decision of Perak Sultan whether his consent be given to the dissolution of the present state assembly for a new state election.

The people of Perak state as well as the whole country is awaiting for the announcement to be made by Nizar after his audience with the Sultan.

I hoped and prayed that the learned and respected Sultan will make a decision for the best interest of his Royal subjects.

拖垮民盟政府的动物

在傍晚五时十五分，副首相纳吉召开新闻发布会，宣布国阵已经获得多数议席，能够组成霹雳州新政府。

在同一个时候，目前的民盟州政府州务大臣尼查，正在霹雳州苏丹行宫觐见苏丹阿兰沙，要求御准解散州议会，举行一个新的州选举，寻求人民的新委托。

依据现在情形，民盟的两位被控贪污的议员，已经跳槽到国阵，另一位行动党议员，也辞去党籍，成为独立人士，而投靠国阵。三天前刚过槽到民盟的波大州议员，重新再回到巫统（国阵）怀中。这样国阵就获得简单多数票，组织新政府了。

民盟政府命运的最后定夺，决定在霹雳苏丹手中。假如得到苏丹御准解散州议会，民盟就会有翻本的机会，不然就会倒台。

霹雳的人们，还有全国的人民，都在期待州务大臣在觐见苏丹后的宣布。

我希望，也祈望这位英明，受尊重的苏丹，能够作出一个子民受惠的决定。
