Mass at Hua Lian Cathedral 花莲主教主持弥撒

It is 9:15 pm now. We just checked into hotel ten minutes ago after our dinner at a restaurant. It was a long day.

The Legion Fellowship has been concluded successfully. It is time for sightseeing.

We, in six bases, left Taipei at about 8:00am for Hua Lian, an east coast county of Taiwan. Through many tunnels, we reached Hua Lian at noon and have our lunch at a restaurant catering mostly for tourist (more than ten bases parked there)

After lunch we went toTaruko National Park to view the wonders of nature.

Then we went to Tzu Chi University for a visit to the information centre to learn about the good works of the organisation. Tzu Chi was founded by Rev. Zheng Yan founded the Tzu Chi movements in Hua Lian more than 40 years ago.

The visit was to foster closer understanding and appreciation of Catholics towards other religions and movements. In Kuala Lumpur, the Chinese speaking Catholic works closely with the Tzu Chi in disaster relief activities.

At 5:30pm, we have Mass at the Hua Lian Cathedral celebrated by Bishop Wang of Hua Lian Diocese. He expressed warm welcome to us visitors and his appreciation of the good works done by the Legion of Mary. He noted Legionaries are deeply devoted the Mary, thus are the most favour by her.

We have light refreshment after Mass and dinner at 7:30 pm.

台北圣母军交流会成功的结束，也这是旅游的时候了。

我们一群人，共六辆巴士，在早上八时离开台北，往东部的花莲前进。

经过了好多隧道，包括长十二公里的雪山隧道，途径美丽的宜兰，我们在中午抵达花莲，并在此餐馆用午餐。

午餐过后，我们到太鲁阁国家公园观赏自然界的奇景。

接下来，我们到慈济大学里静思堂参观慈济的各种爱心救济工作。我想这是天主教徒对外认识，宗教交流的一个好安排。在吉隆坡，华语天主教徒在赈灾工作上，常有合作。慈济是证严法师在四十多年前，在花莲创办的。

在5：30 pm, 我们到花莲主教座堂参加弥撒。花莲的黄主教，本来这个时候是应该在泰国参加会议，但藉天主的安排，能够有人代替，他就留下来，并在今天亲自迎接我们及主祭一台弥撒。

弥撒后，当地教友准备了茶点招待我们。离开教堂后，我们在七时半，到另一间餐馆用晚餐。
