When God wanted to destroy Nineveh because of their wickedness, he sent Jonah to warn them.

The King of Nineveh heard the words， immediately put on sackcloth, sat down in ashes, and ordered all his men and beasts, herds and flocks in the land to taste nothing, must not eat, must not drink water, put on sackcloth and call on God with all their might; and let every one renounce his evil behaviour and the wicked things he has done...

God saw their efforts and relented. He did not inflict on them the disaster which he had threatened.

When 2 expensive microphones were missing from the Choir section, the Parish Priest of our church ordered the choir to stop singing and no music at all Masses for the whole month of July. All parishioners, especially the choir and AV members, were told to reflect on it and .......

This evening was the first Mass without choir and music. Singing was led by the commentator whose voice was ...kind of sorrowful... and slow.

God saw... but no response! May be this is the 1st week only! （God gave 40 days to Niveveh to repent)

当天主看到了尼尼微人的邪恶，要摧毁这个城市时，他派遣约纳去警告他们。

尼尼微的国王听到了这个警告之后，他马上披上麻衣，坐在灰土中，并下令全国的人 、牲畜 、牛和羊都不可以吃什么；不可放牧，不可喝水，应披上麻衣，要恳切的呼求天主，更要转离自己的邪路，放弃各种暴行。。。

上主看到了他们的决心，远离邪恶及悔改，怜悯他们，就不把要施放的灾害降下。

当我们教堂合唱团里的两支贵重的麦克风不见了，堂区神父宣布在整个七月份里，合唱团停止领唱，也禁止音乐。教友们，特别是歌咏团及视听组成员，应该利用这个时期，好好的去反省。。。。

今晚的弥撒，是第一台没有合唱团及音乐的弥撒。歌唱则由带经员带领。她的歌声有点忧伤。。。而且唱的慢拍。。。

天主应该是看到了，但没有反应，可能这是第一周吧。。。(天主给尼尼微人四十天时间）
