Moon cake festival

Today is the fifteenth day of the eighth month of the lunar calender, we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival or the Moon cake Festival.

There are hundred types of moon cakes available in the market with fanciful names. My only love is Nutty mooncakes, like the 1 and 2 in the picture above.

Mooncake no 1 is homemade, plenty of almond nuts and melon seeds. Mooncake no 2 is mass-produced, from a famous brand I liked.

Wishing you all a Happy Moon Cake Festival.

Make sure you go for a Makan makan tour before you take up any new posting...

The moon cake festival is a special occasion to enjoy the delicious moon cakes and celebrate the harvest. It's a wonderful time to gather with family and friends to enjoy the festivities.
