This is the song we used to sing during Masses.
Today, if the Lord were to give me the task of finding what I wanted from him, surely I know what I'll ask for : A Finger of Illusion to create a Police car!
As the song goes further: Faith, hope and charity to strengthen me,...to set me free... to meet the Lord.....
All are for "me". But I ask for a finger of illusion not for myself but for others ... in actual fact, to save lives.
If I were on the highway that night with the speeding bus that crashed on 10-10-10, I would point my Finger of Illusion at the speeding bus, and the bus driver would see a Police car trailing behind, he would have slow down and drive with extra care and caution. Accident can be avoided.
Every day, I travel more than 120 kms to and from work. I see many reckless lorry and bus drivers swerving in and out of lanes causing other drivers to brake. Sometimes heavy vehicles hogging on the fast lanes ... many are speeding and overtaking in dangerous manner.
I just point my Finger of Illusion at these lorries and buses, immediately the drivers would see in their rear view mirrors the presence of a police car behind...
Just like rats seeing cats in the cartoon, they will behave.
Motorcyclists beating traffic lights are common occurrence in every traffic junction. I just point my Finger of Illusion at them, they see the presence of a Police car, they will behave!
To make thing easy, I point my Finger of Illusion at my own car... presto!! it turns into a Police patrol car. It will deter snatch thieves, robbers from committing crime.
Many lives saved!
Many a times, I raised my finger angrily at drivers overtaking me dangerously, or cutting into my lane ..... Do I have the illusion that me really possessed a Finger of Illusion ...
Am I dreaming? Am I crazy ? Am I disillusioned?
今天假如天主同样的问我要什么，我会要求他给我：一根能够变出一辆警车的『魔术指』。
正如那首歌继续这样的唱下去: 信望爱能够强化我。。。释放我，和主相遇。。。
这些都是为了“我”。但我要求的『魔术指』，不是为我自己，而是为他人，确实的说，是救人命。
假如十月十日死亡车祸发生的那个晚上，我也是在大道行驶，我将会把我的手指向那辆超速的巴士一指，那司机将看到一辆警车就随在他后面，他一定马上把速度放慢，小心翼翼的行驶，车祸可能就会避免。
我每天都要行驶来回大约一百二十公里去工作。我可以看到许多鲁莽的巴士及罗里司机，随意转换车道，使到其他驾驶者，常要紧急刹车。有时重型车辆还霸在快速超车道行驶；很多都是超速及危险超车。。。
我只需要把『魔术指』指向这些罗里及巴士，司机马上从望后镜看到警车的出现。他们就会好像卡通里的老鼠见到猫般的，乖乖循规蹈矩行驶了。摩多骑士在交叉路口闯交通灯是司空见惯的事。我只要把『魔术指』向他们一扫，所有的骑士都看到警车就在他们前面，一定都会乖乖的遵守交通规则了。
为了使事情更容易，我把手指向自己给车一指，别人看到我的车，就是一辆警车。。。这样可以防止小偷，强盗犯罪了！
很多生命及财产受到了保护。
很多时候，我把手指指向那些危险超越我车及鲁莽切入我的车道的司机，是不是我真的幻觉到我有『魔术指』的恩赐？
我是不是在做梦？是不是疯了？或者是幻觉？
