4. Asahikawa to Wakkanai (with Video)
Asahikawa was the longest staying place for us, 3 nights all in total.
Afer 2 nights in Asahikawa, we were moving northward to Wakkanai, the most northern city of Hokkaido and Japan. We would stay one more night when we return from Wakkanai.
Before starting our journey, we visited a Catholic Church at the Road six, which the church was named after. We met the parish priest who 0nly spoke Japanese. All our 4 other non-Christian friends accompanied us into the church and have a moment of silent ... for two of us, have a short adoration of the Lord.
We also visited 3 museum which were cloistered togather- the Ice Museum and 2 Japanese fabric museum.
After a picnic lunch at a park, we left for Wakkanai by taking the coastal road.
The scenery was breathtaking. It took us more than 4 hours to cover the 150 km journey due to many stopovers.
We have our own-cooked delicious seafood dinner and rested early.

4. 旭川到稚内 （有录影）
旭川是我们住的最多天的城市，总共是三夜。
在旭川住宿了两天之后，也就是的行程第四天，我们将离开旭川，到北海道，也是日本最北的城市 - 稚内。从稚内回来时，将会在旭川再住一晚。
还没有开始往稚内的路程时，我们先到六条路的天主教堂。这间小教堂是以该街道命名。
该教堂的主理神父只会说日文，所以沟通上出现困难。与我们同行的其他四位朋友，也随同进入教堂参观及静默片刻，而我和太太则朝拜圣体。
我们也参观了三间博物馆 - 冰博物馆及两间纺织美术馆。
在旭川北邦公园野餐后，就启程前往稚内了。
我们决定离开游客惯用的国道及高速公路，而改用西部沿海公路。沿途的美丽景观，蔚蓝的海水，晴空万里，整个旅程是非常的舒服和愉快。
我们作了很多的停停逗逗，总共用了超过四个小时，来完成这150公里的路程。
到了稚内，因为是阴天，所以气温在18度左右。我们在半途购买了海鲜，就在酒店自己烹煮晚餐，鲜甜美味。
当晚，我们较早休息，因为隔天要很早起床，到一个小岛游玩。
