A month ago, I found a Merbok nest with 2 eggs on my bougainvillea tree. Male and female took turn hatching.
Few days into Chinese New Year, 2 dragon babies were hatched. Their parents took turn to feed them.
About 8 days later, with feather fully grown, the bird-lings few off. They stayed on trees nearby under their parents' watchful eyes. They left behind an empty nest.
A week later, a new couple came to inspect the empty nest, and found it to be good and suitable as their honeymoon suite. They did some minor repair and adjustment and singing loudly Gu Gu Gu Gu...
Yesterday, I found 2 eggs were laid .... a new cycle of life begins! ( few more pics in Facebook)
大约一个月前，斑鸠到我家的一棵花树著巢，生了两粒蛋。雌及雄鸟轮流孵蛋。
农历新年期间，两只龙宝宝诞生了，父母都很幸苦的轮流给他们喂食。
大约八天后，小鸟的羽毛也长得丰厚了，所以就飞离了鸟巢，到附近的树上歇息，但鸟爸妈都会在旁看顾着。他们留下来一个空巢。
一个星期后，我见到了一对斑鸠，在检查鸟巢，发觉还很适用，也很满意，就在哪儿谷谷谷的开心唱歌。他们做了些简单的修补及整理，成为了他们的蜜月套房。
昨天我发现有了两粒胆，鸟爸妈也在轮流的孵着。
不久，新生命就有诞生了。。。。(多几张照片Facebook)
