甲洞八一八 Kepong date

网上得悉甲洞一群教友，在大年初七（人日）来个聚餐，我马上向先贵兄(Francis)定了一个位，要去甲洞八一八！

这群朋友，是甲洞耶稣圣爱堂的华文组骨干人物。他们不只为当地的华文教务促进会努力工作，也更努力的为整个堂区作出奉献。

数年前，他们在建立新教堂的筹备及筹款工作上，不遗余力， 使到甲洞市一座崭新的教堂，很快的得以建成。

在建立团体方面，更是马不停蹄。甲洞圣爱堂华文教友团体，给人一种日新月异的感觉，也是吉隆坡总教区成长最快的堂区。

这些，都是拜因为有一组充满活力的耕耘者所赐。

甲洞堂区教友，也是社交网上非常活跃份子，好多都是我脸书上的朋友。他们善用大众传播媒介及社交网页，把甲洞的活动及讯息，喜悦的能量，非常快速及有效的传播出去。

甲洞的领袖，也为总教区作出贡献。王先贵兄弟目前是吉隆坡总教区华文促进会的副主席，也是一位非常努力及能干的领导人。

我非常欣赏他们，所以，特地藉着这个聚会，到甲洞八一八，更深入的认识他们，感受他们的团体共融的活力。

他们除了参与好多的灵修活动，团体联谊活动也是他们注重的板块。

作为一个基督团体，圣言及灵修固然重要，但也绝不可缺乏社交及团契。Worship （敬拜）与Fellowship （团体联谊）应该相等的平衡。

今晚的聚餐席开四桌。

除了美味佳肴，还有卡拉OK，整晚的喜庆气氛浓郁，嬉笑不断。

“我们有五德”

一位姐妹告诉我，这个团体有五德（的）：

吃的，
玩的，
唱的，
做的，
颠的，

果然名不虚传！

From the net, I came to know about a new year gathering of  my Kepong friends on the seventh day of the New Year. I booked myself a place.

This group of friends are the core members of Chinese-language Apostolate of  Kepong Caritas Church. They not only work hard for the Chinese community, but also contribute greatly to the parish as a whole.

Few years ago, they worked tirelessly with the parish for the building of a new church. Within a short period, a new landmark stood proudly in Kepong Baru which the Catholic community can be proud of.

In community building, they put in their time、energy and sacrifices, making their community being the fastest growing Chinese-speaking group in the area.  

Members are also active in internet social media. They shared their good works and activities online, spreading positive energy and vibe, which is motivational and inspiration.

I am happy to join them for tonight's gathering, being able to feel and to enjoy their warm fellowship and communion of brother-sisterhood.
