They are The HEROES !
The brave fellow Malaysians from all races, religions and classes, who have taken part in the peaceful rally on 09/07/2011 in Kuala Lumpur are my heroes !
The peaceful and carnival-like rally was broken by the violent Police with water cannons and tear gas. They even shot tear gas into a hospital where protesters seek refuge from the menacing attack of the Police.
Despite the lock down and water tight road blocks and check points at highways and public transport terminals, more the 50,000 managed to gather in the city to present a point - Malaysians are united in demanding a clean and fair elections.
Marina Mahathir, daughter of former Prime Minister Mahathir was at the rally with her daughter. She commented: " ....... Malaysians proved two things: one, they can assemble together on a common cause peacefully and two, therefore showed that they are a mature people. "
"....Yes, the world now has a bad impression of the Malaysian government because it has handled this whole issue so badly."Bersih 2.0 is a great success.

他们是英雄！
在09/07/2011那天，来自不同宗教，种族及阶层，走在吉隆坡街上和平集会的马来西亚同胞们，是我心中的英雄。
这个和平，近乎嘉年华会气氛的集会，在粗暴的警察射出水炮和催泪弹后，就被破坏了。警方甚至把催泪弹射进一间医院，因为一些示威者逃入医院，以避开警方的暴力。
警方在大集合前，已经在各进入市区的大道设立路障，也在各公共交通系统的车站检查搭客，水密不通的阻止人们进入吉隆坡，但仍然有超过五万人成功的参加了这次集会。他们勇敢的要告诉政府人民的诉求 - 我们要有廉洁及公正的选举！
玛丽娜，前任首相马哈迪的女儿，与她的女儿也是这次的参加者，她这样评论：“。。。马来西亚人民证明了两点：第一，他们为了共同的立场，可以和平的集聚，第二，这也显示了他们是成熟的。。”
“。。。是的，现在全世界对马来西亚政府留下了一个坏印象，因为它在这整个事件的掌控，是糟透了。。”
