11 years ago, Anthony Wong brought his 17 years old son Alan to Kuala Lumpur to enroll in HELP college to study law. I was with them then.

This morning at 11:00 am, Alan, now 28 and a lawyer, tied the knot at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Kuala Lumpur in a wedding service conducted by Monsignor Daniel Lim. I was the commentator.

Congratulations and may God bless this newly wed and their families with happiness and wealth.

In the evening, we attended the wedding dinner at Concord Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Many friends and relatives from overseas attended the dinner.

Our good friends, Joseph Wong from Sibu, Peter Cho and wife Anne from Ipoh were also there.


十一年前，汶莱的老友志贤（安东尼）带他到儿子Alan 到吉隆坡HELP 学院，修读法律。我伴随着他们。

今天，二十八岁的 Alan, 已身为律师，在早上十一点，假吉隆坡玫瑰堂，在林金狮神父蒙席主礼下，举行了结婚典礼，完成了终身大事。我是领经员。

我感谢天主，也很荣幸的有着志贤这位老友，能够分享他生命中两件重要的大事。祝愿这对新人，主恩满注，白头偕老，福音幸福中，建立新家庭。

在傍晚，我们也参加了在吉隆坡一家酒店举行的欢宴。到会者有来自许多国家及地区的亲戚朋友。

我们的老友，诗巫的黄禄声，怡保的朱兴文和太太安妮，也到会参与其盛。

Old friend 老朋友

I get all my household fittings from my friend's hardware shop in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail in Petaling Jaya. Besides special prices, more importantly, I am getting quality products.

I know Ah Hai (Stanley Ng) for 35 years.

This morning I went there to get new basin taps for my house. He sported long hair... I suggested to him to tie a pony tail to have a "new look". We reminisced on our younger days when Tancho hair cream ruled the days... a type of sticky hair cream from Japan, and the all time favourate - the Vitalis hair tonic! Those were the good-hair days.

His shop is located at Jln Tun Mohd Fuad Satu, Taman Tun, next door to Alliance Bank. Tell him you are my friend to enjoy special discount!!:D

今天早上，我到他的店购买厨房洗碗盆的水龙头，看到他留着长头发。我建议他留长些，绑一条小辫子，改变 “形”像。我们不禁的谈起我们的时代，使用当时最畅销及流行的『丹顶』发膏，还有那是也是很流行的维他力护发品。。。想当年的发型。。。

他的五金店就在敦依斯麦花园商业区 (Jln Tun Mohd Fuad Satu)，和Alliance Bank 隔壁。你只要说是我的朋友，也会享受到特价的优待！！：D

一项不受看重的工作

圣母军手册第37章『工作建议』里的第八项，是『巡迴图书馆』。

这是一个非常重要，但被忽略的圣母军工作。

这可能是工作名称被误解有关系。这里所说的性质不是巡迴图书馆，而是流动书摊。手册用了三页来讲解这个工作，可以看出它的重要性了。

本地的堂区，因为客观的环境，不可能在教堂外面，或者在闹市中开设一个流动书摊，但假如能够在教堂里面开设，其效果也是同样的好，只是对象大部分为教友而已。

在我的堂区加影圣家堂，英文圣母军支团把这个工作做得非常的好。他们不只提供许多不同目录及低价的宗教书籍，刊物，圣经，圣像，念珠等，给予教友许多的方便，还是堂区的一个『地标』。教友可以约定在圣母军书摊会面，可以转交东西，可以在那里交谈，可以询问堂区的资讯（特别是新来的教友），可以在那里领取表格，报名参加活动或慕道班。

这个书摊已经操作了整二十年，已是堂区生活的一部分。它除了提供教友许多方便（不必到远地的书店购买宗教书籍 、圣像等），还为圣母军提高知名度 、接触教友，认识教友，结交朋友，招募团员、辅助团员，宣扬圣母军精神的好地方。流动书摊的友善服务团员，是圣母军最好的形象大使。

目前我的支团有一位团员负责一个小书摊，售卖、分派、推销教会的华文期刊（如恒毅，方向，和平，海星报等），书籍及圣经，日历，每日读经。因为一个人能力有限，只能够做到以上的基本工作。其他的如接触，宣传及推介则不能兼顾。

在一些堂区，本身已经开设了自己书摊，但圣母军仍然可以积极的自愿参与，成为管理员或服务员。而一些没有这设备的堂区，圣母军可以尝试向堂区神父提出建议，开始这样的流动或固定的摊位，为堂区教友提供服务。

华文教友在这方面，更需要此类书摊的服务。大部分堂区开设的书摊，都以英文教友为对象，所以书籍都是英文为主。华文的宗教书籍本来就少，售价也高，更糟糕的是教友不知要到那里去购买。有些本地出版的华文刊物，因为传销管道有限，不能够传递到每个教友家庭里，造成了销量有限，对出版者形成了数量及财政的压力。圣母军有义务，也是圣母军的工作去宣传教会的刊物，使到教友受益。

这是一项非常有意义，有效率，有价值的工作，但很少被鼓励或提出讨论，对我来说，是个痛惜的遗憾。

Burglary 爆窃

About 15 years ago, my friend, a land owner, developed his land jointly with a developer and gotten me a unit of ground floor 2 room-flat.

A friend stayed there for a while, but was vacant for the past five years. We used it to keep our old furniture, books and other household items.

Last week, I discovered the flat has been burglarised! It was the work of those stayed in the same unit.

My first dinning table bought 30 years ago was taken away, together with two single beds, an old old TV set.... and many old National Geographic magazines.

This is my first experience with burglars! I felt angry and frustrated ....










大约十五年前，一位地主朋友和发展商联手发展他的土地，让了一间底层组屋给我。

一位朋友住了一个时期，不过最近五年是空置，用来寄放旧家私，书籍和一些没用到的家具。

上个星期，我发现被爆窃了。我肯定是住在同座的人干的。

我三十年前买的餐桌被搬走了。。还有两张单人床，一架很老的电视机。。好多的旧【国家地理】杂志。

这是我第一次体验被爆窃。我感觉到非常生气及无奈。。。世风日下，老幼都会做不道德的勾当。。偷窃邻居的财物。。。

Our parish covers a big area. For administration and pastoral needs, it is divided into 17 zones, consisting more than 77 smaller sub-areas called BEC (Basic Ecclesial Community).

My house is situated at Sg Jelok Zone， consisting 4 BEC. It covers area starting from Jln Semenyih (main North South trunk road), ending at the border of Kajang Prison.

Tonight we held our election of new office bearers 2009-2011.

Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the election concluded smoothly, and saw many new faces coming forward to serve the community.

Later we have pot luck fellowship with the host serving Rambutan freshly plucked from the trees.

我的堂区范围非常广阔。为了行政及牧民的需要，划分成十七个区，共有超过77 个小团体（基督基层团体）。

我的家属于双溪朱落区，共有四个基层团体。这区的范围有士毛月路（南北联邦公路）开始，到加影监狱前为界线。

今晚，我的区举行职员选举，以选出2009-2011年度的新执委。

在圣神的指引下，新的执委很顺利的选出了，并且有新脸孔的出现，很愿意的为团体服务。

选举过后，我们共享了晚餐，再加上主人招待刚从树上摘下的红毛丹。

I survived 我度过了

I survived....! a day without hand phone!

I have forgotten to bring my hand phone this morning. I realised that when already 10 Kms into my journey.

It was a long day... most of the time was not in the office, not able to be contacted.

When I reached home at 10:30 pm, every things was alright.... checked on the phone, 7 missed calls, a few voice messages.....

A day without a hand phone is not that difficult!

我度过了。。。没有手机的一天！

今早出门的时候，我忘记带手机，发觉时，已是离家十公里外了。

今天大部分时间都不在办公室，没能够被联络上。

当我在晚上十时半到家后，一切正常。。。查看手机，有七个来电，几个留言。。。

没有手机的一天，并不是这么难过！

RCIA fellowship 慕道班聚餐

成人慕道班除了在课室学习, 分享之外，我们还有举办户外活动及聚餐，藉着这些活动，慕道者及家人和慕道班工作人员有更多互相认识及交流的时间。

今晚在我家，主办了今年的慕道班第一次聚餐会。

本届虽然只有四位慕道者，但慕道班同人毫不松懈，全程及真诚的陪伴这几位慕道者，共同体验团体的福音生活。

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adult (RCIA) besides learning and sharing in the classroom, we also organise outdoor activities and home fellowship. This is to enable the RCIA enquirers and team members opportunity to foster better understanding and closer relationship.

Tonight, we held a potluck fellowship at my home.

Although we have only 4 enquirers, it does not affect the enthusiasm and commitment of team members in journeying together with them throughout the whole programme.

We remember ....我们记得。。。

When Rev. Fr. Philip So passed away 0n 26th April 2006, Fr.Julian, the then Parish Priest of the Church of the Holy Family decided to open a new row at the Holy Family Cemetery specially for departed priests ("The Priests Row"). This is to honour these chosen people who lay down their lives upon the altar.

Today, there laid to rest three great priests and missionaries from China who had offered their lives for the greater glory of God in this country.

Next to Fr. So is the tomb of Fr. Leo Chang who died on 15th December 2008. Fr. Anthony Chan, seminary-mate of Fr. So passed away on 11th July 2009.

May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen !



当苏德昭神父在二零零六年，四月二十九日逝世的时候，加影圣家堂当时的堂区主任廖神父决定在圣家义山特别开发一行，作为神父们长眠之处。这是对这些被天主特别拣选的人，把生命奉献在祭台上的一种尊敬。

今天，这个也叫作 “神父排" 长眠着三位来自中国的伟大传教士神父，他们把毕生都奉献给了本地教会，以荣耀天主。

在苏神父的旁边，埋葬着在二零零八年十二月十五日逝世的张学礼神父，及在二零零九年七月十一日逝世的陈安当神父，他也是苏神父的修院同学。

愿他们的灵魂，以及所有已亡的灵魂，赖天主的仁慈，得享安息。阿门！
